After two Russian fighter aircrafts flew in danger near to an aircraft that was in the UK After the incident, the UK suspended military patrols above Black Sea. Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said the incident happened on 29 September and that Russia has acknowledged it occurred within the international airspace. The RAF RC-135 aircraft was on routine patrol over the Black Sea when it was “shadowed” by two Russian militarized SU-27 fighter jets. Wallace told parliament that Britain has halted all patrols after the incident. The British also voiced their concern to Sergei Shoigu, Russia’s Defense Minister. The total duration of the interaction between the Russian aircraft and Rivet Joint was about 90 minutes.
